HVAC Age / Serial Decoder
Air Handlers & Furnaces
The first two characters of the serial number are ignored. The second two are the year (08 = 2008), and the first letter is the month of manufacture (E = May).
Blueridge furnaces and air handlers are manufactured by Allied and follow their serial number formating.
This is the current known serial number format.

This would read as being manufactured in May of 2008.
